An SEO analysis goes beyond where you are and requires you to assess where you are going, identifying areas where you need improvement. With all the data you collect during an analysis, you paint a detailed picture of your execution and highlight where you have fallen short or left opportunity on the table.

Once you've developed a solid SEO strategy and applied it to your website, you need to track how it helps your website. For example, let's say you've written ten pages of content around various keywords for your business and indexed them in search engines. After a few weeks, you can analyze how these pages help drive more traffic to your website and affect your keyword ranking.

Another aspect of your SEO strategy that you will want to analyze is the technical SEO work that you perform for your site. This includes page load speed, conversion rate optimization, and coding. Usually, you need a website developer to help you with these tasks, but tracking progress on the technical SEO side requires an in-depth analysis of the metrics provided by StatCounter.

Content writing and technical SEO are just a few integral parts of a sound SEO strategy. You will also need to check how many backlinks are received for your website and how they help improve your website's domain and page authorities. Fortunately, there is an extensive list of SEO analysis tools that can help you with these efforts.
